Maude Lydia Louise born January 6th, 8 days early on a cold snowy evening. We really wanted a home birth, but it was just not in the cards for us. We did manage to get to the hospital by 1pm and check out by 2am, so at least we didn't spend our first night together there. The next day the sky looked amazing from our view in condo land. We spent the next 10 months learning to exist on no sleep while the baby lady went from a boring lump to a little fire cracker of a small person which brings us to the present, ten and a half months in. Pepper is still wondering what we all got ourselves into...
